And as always, include a link so we can find it for ourselves!

I’ll begin…

So I already mentioned that my book is out next Tuesday.  It’s called FINDERS KEEPERS, and it’s the first book of a new series, the Jane Barnaby Adventures.

Who’s Jane?

Jane the archaeologist!

Well, she kind of looks like that!  She’s an archaeology student who gets mixed up with some international art thieves.  Hey, it happens sometimes!

FindersKeepers

1,400 miles.

3 countries.

2 men she can’t trust.

What could go wrong?

One last thing – even though it’s out next week, you can actually buy the paperback early, so if you click over to Amazon, it’s there!

  1. Thanks for this opportunity, James! My upcoming release, HEARTS UNLOCHED, is due out April 1st. The blurb:

A psychic interior designer reluctantly agrees to renovate a sexy investor’s abandoned hotel on the shores of Loch Sheldrake, a lake rumored to have once been the mob’s body dumping ground.

I’m throwing a Facebook Launch Party on that day, 04.01.16, from 3-9 p.m. EST. I’m being joined by 10 other talented authors. There will be lots of gifts, prize, & giveaways! Please join us here: Hearts Unloched Launch Party

  2. My newest release is PEYTON’S MYTH, book one of The Cambria Code, a science-fiction romance series.

“When a mysterious spaceship appears above Cambria, Zoe remains skeptical that it’s anything but an elaborate hoax. By the time the first spaceship is joined by two others, Zoe reluctantly admits that Earth has been invaded, even though it’s a pretty lame invasion: the aliens look remarkably human and keep to themselves. From what humans are able to learn about them, they seem incredibly arrogant and boring anyway.

After meeting Peyton, one of Earth’s newest residents, Zoe feels an immediate attraction to him although she is reluctant to become involved with someone who isn’t even human. But she soon discovers that these aliens are far more dangerous than they’ve led everyone to believe, and the secrets they are hiding may signal the destruction of her entire planet.”

  3. Finders Keepers cover is lovely and that is a really cool picture of your character! That would be fun to do if I had any ability to draw people 😀

My newest release is DEVIATIONS, which came out February 14th. It is a young adult romance that is a bit outside the norm. 😀

Here is the short blurb: With the depression, PTSD, and her parents’ neglect, Miho longs to give up. Until she meets Shinji, an abused classmate, and his best friend Taka who is stuck with a planned life he hates. As the trio grows closer, they will have to decide if their newfound happiness is worth the cost of being social deviants.

It’s available now from Amazon for $4.99 or for free through Kindle Unlimited. The paperback edition is $14.99, and available from Amazon or direct from me with autograph.

For a preview, check out its page on my website.

  4. I’m working on final edits on Shadowwalkers, an urban fantasy/paranormal romance with absolutely no sparkly vampires.

Anna McKenzie was twenty-one, getting close to graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing and determined to make something of her life – when her brother, Stephen, was brutally murdered in front of her.

    By some kind of demon.

She wants nothing more to do with that world – and especially nothing more to do with a mysterious vigilante named Victor Prince – but that world is not going to let her go. Between her enemies, her own gifts, and her feelings for a man who saved her life, she is drawn further and further into the reality most people never find out exists.

  5. Hi all,
My latest Dolphin Shore Shifter book, Lethal Tide will release the day after Jame’s book, on March 30.

Blurb for Lethal Tide, Dolphin Shore Shifters Book 4

The Santa Barbara Channel holds a closely guarded secret…
Dolphin shifter Conley Nash began his second three-year mission armed with a kick-ass agenda and an attitude to match. Since their team leader was killed, the men in SBW field ops have lost their nerve. Determined to restore the hard line, Conley can’t wait to show them how it’s done, facing down a greedy oil company in Long Beach. Until Conley meets his new partner…and finds his powers of persuasion need work.
First-time shifter Betty Brett can’t believe she finally made it into the male-centric field ops team. Since the first female agent was murdered, before Betty goes solo, she’ll spend four months teamed with an experienced operative. But did it have to be Conley? No matter how temptingly handsome he is, Betty refuses to take grief from a trigger-happy male and certainly not one whose knuckles drag the ground.
When the oil company resorts to violence protecting its illegal fracking operation, Conley finds himself out-gunned. Either he and Betty compromise, fast, or they’ll be dead before they can unravel the perplexing feelings they have for each other.

  6. What a fun idea! My newest release is a romantic suspense called The Captive (Griffin Force #1) Here’s the back copy:

Former Navy SEAL Jake Williams is the newly appointed head of a task force assigned to rescue a kidnapped American diplomat. Their only hope is Mya Amari, the daughter of a notorious Algerian hostage negotiator, but she is full of secrets and complications–something Jake takes as a personal challenge. As they grow closer, the threat to the mission escalates and time runs out for the hostages. Can Jake unravel the web of deception to save them all without getting caught in the crossfire?

Mya Amari has been in hiding nearly her entire life to escape her father’s enemies. But when her sister is kidnapped along with an American diplomat, she’ll do anything to bring her home–including walking into the enemy’s lair. She doesn’t trust anyone, especially the too-handsome-for-his-own-good Commander Williams, but when all her careful plans explode out of control, he’s the only one she can turn to with the truth about her family. Is it too little, too late?

You can read the first chapter and get all the buy links on my website http://www.juliebellon.com

Congrats to everyone on their new releases!

  7. Thanks so much James!

My most recent release is called Char. It’s an M/M retelling of Cinderella: Char is a foundling, raised in the palace kitchens. When he falls in love with the Prince, he decides to show his love, using a lifetime of knowledge gleaned from watching the cooks and bakers around him, to create the perfect cake. Raoul, the head baker, takes credit for the confection, until Char wins the chance to prove himself, and his love.

I’m here to share a recipe with you today!

Even before I met my wife, who was working as a baker at the time I wrote Char and largely inspired the story, I loved baking! I didn’t attempt anything particularly complicated, but I’ve been baking scones and pretzels since I was a teenager, and they never last long, so I’m assuming that means people like them.

My favourite scone recipe is a modified version of one I got from my grandma:

    Preheat oven to 400℉

    Combine:
    1 cup white flour
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 Tablespoon butter or margarine
1 ½ Tablespoons brown sugar (or honey or maple syrup or the sweetener of your choice)
    ½ teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
“A little milk” (That’s what the original recipe calls for. Enough milk to form ‘a soft consistency’)

Pull out globs of dough (depending what size you want your scones to be) and place on a baking sheet.

Bake 12-15 minutes, or until slightly browned
