Welcome Wednesday – Marketing Genius Edition
Welcome to this week’s edition of Welcome Wednesdays!
Since we’re all in charge of our own sales and marketing, as well as writing our books, let’s talk a little bit this morning about how exactly we do that. So in the comments, tell us about your best/most successful/most unique marketing idea (either one you’ve actually tried, or one you’re considering).
Please be sure to include a link to your book(s) so we can learn more about you, too!
I’ll begin…
One marketing idea I’m very excited about is a video book trailer. I won a custom-produced one for DREAM DOCTOR, and you can see it right here:
And now it’s your turn!
(when you’re done here, please stop by Exquisite Quills, where there are daily memes just like this one and plenty of fantastic authors you can discover!)

I think the most effective means of marketing for me is using a,website called Fiverr.com it costs only $5.00 to promote and drive traffic to my website and book links. Marketing is fickle so I often use posts I make from Pagemodo.com
I promote other authors on my own promotional website: The Owl Branch Book Promotions: http://www.theowlbranch2015.net
We also send out newsletters giving information about what is going on with our business and others business.
My unique marketing technique is You Tube. I find a song I like and leave comments. I write down how much this song reminds me of a book I’d written. Example; “Tell me a Lie” the song reminds me of the book of the same name. I received two sales from this technique and it started a conversation between me and another fan of the same musical genre. It is a bit out of the box, but I found success in it.it brings two genre’s together for one purpose…like a book and a movie…you just have to compare them. I do tell my fans or potential fans my book has nothing to do with the song. They check anyway.
All ;my books can be found on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Bite-Away-Vampire-Chronicles-Book-ebook/dp/B00AQZIOES/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8
my website is webs.com/ronnagage
in the process of finding a good blog posting spot
and my yahoo group Romance Billboard News.
Have a wonderful day, a great weekend and may your April Fools Day be a fun one at least.
