I’ve been struggling with what to write for the book descriptions for “Dream Student” and the other three books on their Amazon.com pages, for when they go up for sale (and also the back cover text for the print editions).  I’ve got two versins for “Dream Student” so far – here they are:

What would you do if you could see other people’s dreams?  If you could watch their hidden fantasies and uncover their deepest, darkest secrets…without them ever knowing?

Sara Barnes is about to find out.  She thought that all she had to worry about was final exams, Christmas shopping and deciding whether she likes the cute freshman in the next dorm who’s got a crush on her.

But when she starts seeing dreams that aren’t hers, she learns more than she ever wanted to know about her friends, her classmates…and a strange, terrifying man whose dreams could get Sara killed.

or…

Sara Barnes is halfway through her junior year at Crewe University, and she’s a pretty average student.  All she wants to do is pass her Physics final, get started on her medical school applications and figure out what to do about the cute, dark-haired guy in the next dorm to hers, who seems to have a crush on her. If it weren’t for the recurring nightmare that’s been keeping her awake every night, about a strange man preying on a helpless teenage girl, life would be a breeze.

But Sara is about to discover that life isn’t a breeze, and she’s anything but average.  Because the nightmare isn’t just a nightmare, and it isn’t even hers…

I’m still trying to decide if either of these is any good or if I need to rethink it and come up with something completely different.
