Indie Author Spotlight – T.L. Clark and the “Love” novels…

As promised, here’s another great author for you to meet: T.L. Clark!

I’m a self-published author. I’m 30 something and was born and raised in the UK. I have a lovely and supportive husband and an irritating but much spoiled cat. I have a great fondness of pistachio ice cream.

I love music (I have a very eclectic taste), reading and riding my motorbike. My favourite book of all time is Jane Eyre, but I think Charlotte Bronte would faint if she could read my books.

I am an office worker by day (when employed), but fit my writing in around that and practising holistic therapies.

My dream is to own a farmhouse retreat where I can help stressed humans and horses, using my counselling and holistic skills.

Each of my books is completely separate from the other, so you don’t have to read them in any particular order. They all look at love from different angles.

You can follow her, too:

And here are her books…

Young’s Love

Samantha is a downtrodden thirty-something living in the UK. Her life is controlled by others, particularly her overbearing husband. This is the story of her voyage to independence, and a trip to Tuscany.

Her ensuing flings are not overly successful, but each experience teaches her something new about herself. One of her dates seems to have a tortured past too; perhaps he can help heal her wounds?

Will she ever find true love? Well, at least she can discover a new found joy of sex.

True’s Love

This is the second book by TL Clark, but completely unrelated to Young’s Love. This budding new author is seeking to explore the different aspects of love. Whereas the last novel was about a young woman finding her independence, this novel starts with an independent woman who is happy with her life already but has her views challenged.

In this book we find promiscuous Amanda living the highlife; meek admin worker by day and wild clubber by night. We get to hear about a selection of her erotic night time adventures.

But she is surprised by love when she goes on holiday with her friend to Ibiza. The blonde bodyguard soon has her lowering her barriers. He shows her how much more there is to sex when the heart is truly engaged. But will this just be a holiday romance, will it lead to a long term relationship or will it end in tragedy? Join Amanda on her quest of exploration.

Dark Love

This book delves into the dark realm of Mistress Eigengrau, and the love that exists between this female Dom and her male Sub. This is not a book for the faint-hearted or under-18s as it contains graphic sexually explicit scenes, so strap on tight for a rough ride!

Jonathan (our gorgeous hero of a Submissive) has his attention diverted by another but it leaves him conflicted and confused. Can he turn away from the only kind of love he has ever known to explore new avenues? Or is it just a passing fancy; a light shone on a new world that ultimately has no longevity? Jonathan’s life is certainly about to get a lot more challenging.

and finally

Rekindled Love

Are you fed up with the youngsters getting all the action in romance novels?
This book was created with the intention of enlightening people on the wonders of sex in middle age.

We take a journey through Sophie’s life. We join her with her first love, who she gets torn away from. We go on to follow her life; hatches, matches and dispatches. Hers is not an easy life, but hold her hand through the bumpy bits to get to the good times.

Thank you to all my readers for picking this book in the first place, but thank you even more for your reviews. I’m an indie author and truly appreciate all your stars and comments.

People familiar with my work will already know that each of my books is standalone. You can pick a theme which suits your mood without worrying which order they should be read in. Each novel looks at love from a different viewpoint. Please feel free to browse my author profile to find out more, including details of how to get in contact.

Finally, I’ve got a great interview with T.L. as well…

Who is your favorite author?
Jacqueline Rhoades is my favourite current author. She writes with the same ‘tongue in cheek’ wit as I do; I love a bit of humour with my ‘steam’.
How do you describe your writing style?
I have a free flowing, easy style. It’s highly charged with emotion, but I also want to make my readers smile.
Why should we read your book?
If you love love you should read my books; explore it from a different perspective. Romance with sizzling sex!
Have any of your characters been modeled after yourself?
Not really, but then each has a bit of me in them. None are auto-biographical, but I am an admin worker by day (I just don’t go clubbing and sleep around like Amanda!).
If you could exchange lives with any of your characters for a day which character would you choose and why?
Oooh… that’s tough, but if it’s just for one day I’d be Mikhail. Arguably my sexiest man to date, and I’d see what it was like to be a bloke!
What books have most influenced your life?
‘Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway’. This book was part of my reading for my counselling training years ago, and really opened me up to new experiences, even if I was scared at first.
If you could select one book that you could rewrite and add your own unique twist on, which book would that be and why?
Fifty Shades; I really want to make serious changes to that series to make it semi-believable. And I wouldn’t mind the sales either 😉
Beatles or Monkees? Why?
Monkees (controversial!), but ‘Daydream Believer’ is almost a theme song for my life.
Who should play you in a film of your life?
I’ve been told I look a bit like Alicia Silverstone, so I suppose her. But if Ewan McGregor is the leading man I’ll play me please 😉
