Thank you Carlyle Labuschagne for sending me the ARC of A Beast So Beautiful. Before rambling about how amazing the story is, please take a moment to appreciate the gorgeous cover, I’m in love with it. This book is indeed a beautiful read with an appealing cover. It’s a story of a Prince, named Leif; who’s half-human and half-beast. Prince Leif is so kindhearted; doesn’t matter if a beast resides inside him, he’s always on the watch to not hurt or harm anyone. The story is mysterious, intriguing and full of twists and turns. The writing is compelling and sophisticated, the author takes you along the journey of Prince Leif; all the ups and downs, the struggles, the battles and hardships he faces, you get to experience with him and it feels so real. The plot twist and the epilogue will blow your mind. I’m still surprised and shocked at the unanticipated turns of events that unfolded as the story progressed. Although it’s kind of a happy ending I’m still mad at Avelyne and my heart broke for Leif, how things turned out for him. The characters are very well developed, and the details and descriptions are vividly taken care of. The cover and title might leave you thinking that it’s a Beauty and the Beast retelling, but let me assure you that this is a completely new and unique story. Overall the book is very intense and captivating and I love it.
