This was actually an email I received from a reader, about the first three DREAM SERIES books…
The books were fabulous, and so well written. I love Lizzi, and I wonder if the twins are going to have the dreams also, or just the girl twin since it seems to run in the female side of the bloodline. I will recommend these books to all my friends. I like the surprise twist and the end when Sara finds out that her mother has the same kind of dreams. I would have never thought it, but all along Sara could have told her and was afraid to. Great books. Thank you.

This is from on one of my favorite reviews, for one of my Flagman’s Folly stories, A Rancher’s Pride. The hero is stunned to receive full custody of a child he’s never know about, a four-year-old daughter he has no clue how to communicate with because she’s deaf.
“This is a heartwarming tale about the importance of communication between people in any relationship. The story is an extraordinary narrative incorporating sign language enabling Becky to speak her mind and dialog with those around her. Instead of making Becky silent — White Daille gave her a voice, and what a voice she had. Reminiscent of Catherine Anderson and Deborah Smith who often give special people great voices — Barbara White Daille can add me to her fans.”

I choose this one because it came from another author and I so respect when another writer loves my words. Also, because she so eloquently describes the book, which difficult to explain. “The alternating personal views (the format is similar to Redling’s Damocles) and the “knitting-together” / growth / progress of the main character Suza were well executed. The story line (plot and sub plots) flows well and there were no loose ends. The intrigue of war and the ship battles were exciting, flowed at a good pace, and well described. I could find no system engineering or technical flaws in her descriptions of shipboard life.”

5 stars: “Although romance books are not my standard cup of java, I found this one to be an easy read. While working on a degree in Pastoral Counseling we were made to watch movies and read books that dealt with specific types of human trauma. The author of this book hit the menagerie of human emotions dead on with this one. If you ever had a bad breakup you maybe able to recognize some of the pain and confusion the main character deals with as she tries to go home for Christmas and finds her family stacked against her and for her soon to be “X”. I appreciate that this story has strong passionate human interaction without blatant over descriptive content. Thanks Mishael for a book a pastor can recommend.”

4.5 Stars! Wow, what an impassioned read from “new to me” author Patricia Preston. One Week in Your Arms is a reunion romance with twists and turns that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. The two main characters, family doctor Marla Grant, and Carson Blackwell, a billionaire and successful architect, had a fling six years ago. Their time together resulted in a beautiful baby girl, which Marla has raised by herself. Although they both agreed to move on without looking back, the feelings they developed always remained in their hearts.
When Carson realizes that Marla’s clinic is primarily funded by his late grandmother’s foundation, he devises a scheme to see her again. Part of his plan includes a trip to Hawaii, posing as couple that is very much in love. The chemistry between them is hot and sexy, so pretending to be in love is not difficult. However, their respective pasts must be unveiled in order for them to form a family.
I really liked both Marla and Carson, and there was never a moment that I did not want them to work out their past and forge a future together. The secondary characters add depth and personality to an already engaging storyline. I especially liked Marla’s best friend Kayla, because of her chutzpah and positive attitude. Overall, this is a well-written book with a happy ending that will leave a smile on your face.
Thanks James. I have lots of longer reviews for my books, some of them about winning awards, but I thought your readers might prefer a snappier one. This is for the 3rd book in my Jack Carston series, The Darkness, and it gets straight to the point.
