My Sexy Saturday – Dream Child edition

Welcome to this week’s edition of the My Sexy Saturday blog hop.  The theme today is “A Very Sexy time” and I’ve got an excerpt that I think fits quite well, from book three of the Dream Series, DREAM CHILD:

He certainly reminded me.  And I reminded him, too.  I am very thankful that there’s a room between this one and the room that Helen and Lizzie are in.

We’re lying together, still tangled up in each other, and I turn my head to look at the clock.  It’s ten-thirty.  We haven’t had – thanks to the twins, this was the first time in almost seven months, and I’d say that we made up for lost time pretty nicely.

“Just like riding a bike,” I mutter.

“What?”  Brian’s only half-awake.

“Nothing, I was just thinking.”

“Oh,” he says, rolling over towards me, kissing me.  “I get it.”  He smiles.  “But you told me you never learned to ride a bike.  You could’ve fooled me.”

“I shouldn’t have to tell you,” I laugh, “there’s riding a bike, and then there’s riding a bike.”

He doesn’t need to answer that.  I sit up, get off the bed.  “Where are you going?”

“Bathroom,” I tell him.  I take care of my business, get a drink of water, and put my “naughty nighties” back on.  I can’t help but notice that Brian is still completely, wonderfully naked.  I also notice – it’s very difficult to turn my attention from him but somehow I manage – that our chocolate-covered strawberries are still sitting there, untouched.  For some reason, we never got around to them.

“You hungry?”  He must be.

“Do you really need me to answer that?”  For a moment, I’m back in college, back when we first met.  What would the Brian of seven years ago say if he could hear himself now?  I giggle at that, and I have to explain to him why I’m laughing, and then he is too.

I get the strawberries, and while I do, Brian puts his own underwear back on.  I guess I can’t blame him; it is pretty chilly in here, and, besides, I did it first.

He lets me feed him a couple of strawberries, and then he feeds me.  And then – well, we might as well not have bothered putting any clothes back on.
